T O P I C R E V I E WGot Gemini?Lets here it! What are your experiences with Moon quincunx Moon in synastry? I have this aspect exact Moon in Libra quincunx Moon in Pisces (both 14˚ .------------------Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚Gemini Sun 24˚Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house)Gemini Mercury 25˚Cancer Venus 29˚ (Mutual reception with Moon)And yes, i'm a guy!cherleI have had a several good, close friends whose natal moons quincunx my natal moon, including Libra moons (my moon is in Pisces). I don't think I've ever dated either a Libra or Leo moon though. LaraI have this with someone.. it's a 5-6' orb though but i like it. It's creative and not so heavy as a hard aspect.Got Gemini? The person I have this aspect with, I get along with her REALLY well. I think our exact Mercury trine Mercury goes a long way.------------------Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚Gemini Sun 24˚Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house)Gemini Mercury 25˚Cancer Venus 29˚ (Mutual reception with Moon)And yes, i'm a guy!Laraoh yeah, with the guy i have that quincunx with we have a mercury/mercury and sun/sun exact conjunction!comica23My chart has a good number of quincunxes. Having all my personal planets in Aries (except Mars), it would seem hard to get along with the Virgo and Scorpio influenced people, but my AC is in Virgo, and I have Saturn, Pluto and SN in Scorpio plus my Aries stellium being in the 8th house, so that I can have affinity with both of these signs. I just feel that I'm not able to stand it if they show their negative traits too strongly, like Virgo Moon being too critical and lack of compassion, or Scorpio Moon being too extreme and paranoid.I guess that depending on house overlays or one person having planets in the other's Moon sign can help a bit on affinity.soulful122 According to this site, http://astrologyforthesoul.com/vemamereln.html quincunxes are actually a good thing when it's between the same planet. My ex and I have our Venus quincunx each other (3 deg). We are still good friends. quote:Quincunxes are probably the most confusing aspect in synastry. They tend to get a bad rap, which is partially quite well deserved. However, an actual close quincunx between compatible planets such as Venus-Venus, Moon-Moon, Sun-Sun, or ASC-ASC is actually a very positive connection on the one hand, in addition to the problems of the quincunx on the other hand. Quincunx planets have a "6-8" relationship with each other in astrology, which basically indicates an energy that is more heavy, "karmic," and dysfunctional. The really unusual thing about a quincunx is that a close quincunx (of three degrees and fifteen minutes or less) between basically 'soft' planets actually give some very strong compatibility to counter-balance the problems of the quincunx signs. I have to thank the Magi Society's research for helping me to eventually put this puzzle together. Venus quincunx Venus within three degrees? Thank them lucky stars.Whew, good to know!cherleThat's some great info on quincunxes. I wanted to add that I've personally found moon-moon quincunxes easier than synastry with other people who have moon in the same sign as me. I guess that makes sense. Two Pisces moons may be too much of a good thing, well a Pisces moon with either a Libra or Leo have some thing to offer each other and those creating a level of reciprocity.
